New Job at Southworks

I’m pretty excited to announce that since the beginning of November 2010 I joined Southworks, a company I’m passionate about and one that I have developed a good relationship with over the past 6-7 years. I have tons of respect for the engineering teams and quality of work done for me when I was a Southworks customer in my previous roles at Microsoft EMEA and Microsoft Corp.

My new job is, VP Southworks International and Executive Advisor. On my LinkedIn profile, you can see more details.

I’ve just returned from Southworks HQ in Buenos Aires, where I was super busy working with the CEO and senior leadership team. And I had fun when I got out of the office and have taken tons of pictures so, with any luck, I’ll storyboard the good ones in my blog.

Having left Onalytica recently I have once again been on the look out for opportunities that really excite me and give me energy. There are a number of things that I’ve been exploring which I hope to share with you here.

I’ve not publicly announced my new job yet as there are some minor details to finalise. However, today I am pleased to say I joined a new business network called inTHiNK! The founder, Matt Deacon, has brought together an inspiring bunch of people who I am eager to work with. Matt has this to say about his company:

The company I work for, Onalytica, will be hosting a series of events where influential individuals from the software world will have an open discussion and Q&A with attendees. The event will be held in our offices on the 29th floor of Centre Point overlooking the city of London. These events aim to provide a forum to inspire ideas and spark interesting debate amongst the audience.

For one night at least this was true! We had a fabulous party in our London Centre Point office a couple of night’s ago. Playing Bluesy-Jazz was the Blues Engineers with food provided by the catering staff from Charlotte Street Blues cafe.
